It is necessary for the Railways to offer the convenience of neat and clean coaches to the passengers. The ‘Automatic Coach Washing Plant’ is a one step in that direction.
The Automatic Coach Washing Plant is a multistage external cleaning system for coaches of metro/trains, using high pressure water jet, horizontal and vertical rotating nylon and cotton combination brushes.
This coach washing plant is capable of automatic washing exterior lateral sides of the rail cars along with projected window bars, window sil areas.
Plant will be equipped with an effluent treatment system and water softening plant for recycling water used for cleaning trains and platforms.
